Well, OK, they look pretty darn good on lighter backgrounds, too.

When I checked out the Bird Clipart pages I found a blue and gold macaw on a perch, a green macaw and a red macaw on perches also. There is an African Grey parrot in a black vest with a red bow tie, as well as one in flapping its wing. There's also an ostrich, a seagull, three different flamingos and two eagles.

There are also a variety of similar images on various lighter colored backgrounds.
